Activity 4

This activity allows you to explore the aspect of the women's suffrage movement that you find most interesting.

You are going to produce a presentation to tell the class about one area of the campaign for the vote.

You can choose which form your presentation will take. Some suggestions are:

• poster
• PowerPoint
• spoken presentation
• short film

• Reactions to the campaign
• Women and World War I
• Why women gained the vote

Your presentation must include information from the National Library of Scotland sources on this site. You can add further information, pictures or materials from your own research.

Your teacher can help you find textbooks and websites that will be useful for the area you are working on.
